Leadership in Latin America
This year’s ranking evaluated courses from more than 5,200 universities worldwide. Of this total, 1,747 institutions had courses classified in 55 specific areas and five broad areas.
Boosted mainly by the good ranking of courses such as Petroleum Engineering, Dentistry, and History of Art, USP was the Latin American institution with the best performance.
Published since 2013 by Quacquarelli Symonds, a British research organization specializing in higher education institutions, the ranking evaluates universities based on five indicators (academic reputation, employer reputation, scientific citations, H-index, and internationalization) adapted to each specific area.
